Iris pseudo-pumila, Tineo (synonym I. panormitana, Tod.). Leaves ensiform, glaucescent, 6-9 inches long, narrowed suddenly to an oblique tip: stems 1-headed, 6-8 inches long, clothed with bracts, 1-flowered: tube 2-2 ½ inches long; spathe-valves green: flowers varying from yellow to bright lilac; outer segments oblong unguieulate, 2-2 ½ in. long; inner segments rather broaderCH.
