Koeleria (G. L. Koeler, professor at Mainz, an early writer on grasses). Gramineae. Tufted perennials, with slender sts.: spikelets 2-4-fld. in dense spike-like panicles.-^-Species about 12, in temperate regions of both hemispheres; of little horticultural value.
