Isonandra gutta, Hook, (properly Palaquium Gutta, Burck.) One of the Gutta-percha Trees. Lvs. leathery," elliptic, abruptly pointed, 4 in. or more long, rusty- tomentose beneath, the primary nerves 24-30 on each side: fls. in axillary clusters on very short pedicels, the corolla 1/3 in. long and with 6 elliptic obtuse lobes; stamens 12; ovary 6-celled, becoming a small ovoid berry with 1 or 2 seeds: tree 40 ft. This is scarcely a horticultural subject. Malaya.
