Vanda spathulata, Spreng. St. 2 ft. high: lvs. 2-4 in. long, obtusely 2-lobed: peduncle robust, 12-18 in. tall, few-fld.: fls. 1 1/4 in. across, golden yellow; sepals and petals oblong-spatulate, flat; labellum as long as the sepals, clawed, side lobes very small, broadly obovate, middle lobe suborbicular, obscurely 3-fid. Ceylon, India.
