Salix sesquitertia, White (S. aurita x S. phylicifolia x S. purpurea). Intermediate in general appearance between S. aurita and S. phylicifolia: lvs. in shape like the former but with the nervation of the latter and nearly glabrous at maturity: stamens quite connate; ovary pubescent with slender style. Observed in England with the parents.
