Moraea thomsonii, Baker. A rigid herb of rush-like habit: lvs. terete, 6-furrowed: fls. 1¾ in. diam. in spicately arranged fascicles; perianth lilac, yellow at base, spotted brown, midribs darker lilac inside, reddish brown outside. E. Trop. Afr. B.M. 7976.
