Bupleurum fruticosum, Linn. Fig. 697. Shrubby, 3-5 ft.: Lvs. oblong, leathery, mucronate, sometimes persistent, usually quite sessile: fls. with a reflexed involucre, the umbels also with a set of bracts, also recurved: fr. oblong. S. Eu.—Suitable for dry, almost sterile, places.
