Odontoglossum cervantesii, La Llave & Lex. (O. membranaceum, Lindl.). Pseudobulbs usually 4-angled, 2 in. long, bearing a single oblong If. 4-6 in. long: scape sheathed with large bracts, bearing 2-6 membranaceous fls.; fls. 2 in. across, pure white, with transverse streaks of red near the bases of the segms.; sepals broadly lanceolate to oblong; petals ovate-rotund; labellum with a yellow claw; lateral lobes small; middle lobe large, broadly cordate.
