Nicotiana sanderae, Hort. Sander (N. alata x N. Forgetiana). Herbaceous, annual, viscid-pubescent: sts. 2-3 ft. tall, of bushy habit: basal Lvs. large spatulate, undulate; st.-lvs. oblong-lanceolate, short-petioled, acuminate, undulate: fls. bracteolate, in large loose panicles; corolla salverform; tube cylindric, 3 times the length of the calyx, swollen above, greenish yellow tinted with rose; limb oblique; lobes elliptic, acute, often emarginate, carmine-rose.
