Português: Cauda-de-leão, Marijuana-selvagem. Flowers. Portimão, Portugal. The Lion's tail originates in Southern Africa, and is a common garden flower in temperate climates. The Hottentot tribes used to smoke it for an euphoric effect. It contains the alkaloid leonurin.
