Shrub, to 6 ft., with angular glabrous branchlets: lvs. slender-petioled, ovate, incisely or doubly serrate from below the middle, almost glabrous, bluish green beneath, 1 1/2 - 3 in. long: umbels many-fld., the lower ones on branchlets about 2 in. long, the upper ones often almost sessile; fls. about 1/3 in. across: follicles with the style upright and terminal.
