Scapes 1-3, erect, 3-6 in. high, 1-fld.: lvs. 2-3, linear-canaliculate and undulate: fl. azure-blue with white throat, about 1 1/2 in. long, with a narrow tube and obovate segms. Var. Regelii, Baker (not known to be in the trade), has longer peduncles, longer and narrower scarcely undulate lvs., and narrow oblong segms.
