Describe plant here... {{Inc| Tropaeolum tricolor, Sweet, emended by Lindl. (Sweet spelled the specific name tricolorum, but, as Lindley pointed out, this is orthographically incorrect) (T. coccineum, Miers). Fig. 3857. Perennial from a fleshy or tuberous root, half-hardy, climbing: lvs. peltate, orbicular, divided into 6 oblong villous lfts.: fls. about 1 in. long, somewhat cornucopia-shaped, the calyx being the conspicuous part; main part of the calyx vermilion, the short lobes purplish, the small petals yellow. Chile.—Very choice half-hardy plant and probably the best known in this country of the tuberous-rooted kinds. Usually grown indoors. Its growth is very delicate. Var. grandiflorum, Hort. (T. Jarattii, Paxt. T. Yarattii, Buchen.), differs only in having larger fls. {{SCH}} }} ==Cultivation== {{edit-cult}}<!--- Type cultivation info below this line, then delete this entire line --> ===Propagation=== {{edit-prop}}<!--- Type propagation info below this line, then delete this entire line --> ===Pests and diseases=== {{edit-pests}}<!--- Type pest/disease info below this line, then delete this entire line --> ==Species== <!-- This section should be renamed Cultivars if it appears on a page for a species (rather than genus), or perhaps Varieties if there is a mix of cultivars, species, hybrids, etc --> ==Gallery== <gallery perrow=5> File:Tropaelum tricolor.JPG File:Tropaeolum tricolor 001.jpg Image:Upload.png| photo 1 Image:Upload.png| photo 2 Image:Upload.png| photo 3 </gallery> ==References== *[[Standard Cyclopedia of Horticulture]], by L.
