Acaulescent, caespitose: leaves 4-6, rugose, base attenuate, villous, veins prominent beneath: peduncles erect from the leaf-axils, pilose, 3-4 1/2 inches high: flowers 3-6, pendulous, blue-lilac; calyx 5-parted, segments unequal, linear, recurved; corolla hirsute outside, 1 1/2-2 inches long, arched, limb 5-lobed, oblique, lobes rotund, the lower yellow-blotched at base.
