Hills of Parnes range in Attica. B.M. 6242. F. 1877:169. Var. nitens, Hort. Wallace. Said to be much finer than the type: fls. 3 in. across, bright orange-red, the outer segms. flushed with gray and bronze, black at base. Asia Minor. Gn. 63, p. 372.
