Species
There are four subspecies:
- Alnus glutinosa subsp. glutinosa. Europe.
- Alnus glutinosa subsp. barbata. Northern Anatolia (Rize,Trabzon, Artvin)
- Alnus glutinosa subsp. antitaurica. Southern Anatolia, rare.
- Alnus glutinosa subsp. betuloides. Eastern Anatolia.
