Senecio mikanioides, Otto (S. scandens, DC.). German Ivy. Fig. 3604. Slender and glabrous, tall-twining: lvs. ovate or deltoid-ovate in outline, mostly with a deep basal sinus, sharply 5-7-angled or angle-lobed: heads small, discoid, yellow, in close clusters on axillary and terminal branches; bracts of the involucre shorter than the disk-fls. S. Afr. G. 35:343.—Very common conservatory and window-garden plant, easily prop. by cuttings. CH
