Michelia fuscata, Blume (Magnolia fuscata, Andr.). Young growths brown-pubescent: lvs. elliptic-lanceolate or elliptic-oblong, smooth at maturity: fls. small, erect, brown-purple, very fragrant; none of the sepals or petals linear. China.
