Hello Trees, I looked up the RHS book and it sounded incredibly authoritative - and then, by chance, I found a used copy online for $10 and ordered it immediately.  Should be so great to be able to refer to it, and use some of the information on the site.  Are you familiar with the Standard Cyclopedia of Horticulture?  Any thoughts on that?  It's also by Macmillan but it was discontinued a while back.  Also thousands of pages.  --[[User:Raffi|Raffi]] 17:37, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

:A used copy for $10?? Sounds highly suspicious, it would cost far more than that just in mailing costs alone, and it is a collector's item. A smaller condensed single-volume edition is currently on offer on amazon.co.uk for £411 (= about US$600). What you've seen offered won't be the real thing! - [[User:Trees|Trees]] 22:30, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
