Revision as of 21:54, 19 January 2010

This is the 'Plant' form, used to add new plants, or edit existing plants. To add a page with this form, enter the page name below; if a page with that name already exists, you will be sent to a form to edit that page.

Naming new articles

If you're not sure how to name a plant article, just give it the best name you can. Changing the name later is very easy, and anybody can do it.

If you do know the name of the plant, the preferred naming methods are as follows:

Page type Example name
Genus Freesia
Species Freesia alba
Cultivar Freesia alba 'Victoria'
Subspecies Freesia alba ssp. prostata
Common name Meyer Lemon
Hybrid Citrus × meyeri
