Buddleia madagascariensis, Lam. (B. heterophylla, Lrndl.). Straggling shrub, 6-20 feet, with densely tomentose branchlets: Leaves ovate-oblong, rounded or slightly cordate at the base, acuminate, entire, dark green and lustrous above, whitish or yellowish tomentose beneath: flowers tomentose outside, in large terminal panicles, appearing during the winter.
