Hohenbergia legrelliana, Baker (Aechmea legrelliana, Mez. Guzmania legrelliana, Hort.). A strong billbergia-like plant, with 7-12 strong, entire, brown-scaly lvs. and a simple dense spike of red fls. standing 4-7 ft. high: floral bracts serrate. Uruguay. George V. Nash.
