Acmena is a genus of 15 species of shrub and small tree in the myrtle family Myrtaceae and related to guavas. The name is derived from the Greek word for "plentiful."

It is a fairly recent creation, being split off from Eugenia, along with the closely-related Syzygium.

They are found in Australia and Malesia. The Australian species are commonly labelled as lilly pillies, along with the Australian Syzygiums

Acmena is used as a food plant by the larvae of some Lepidoptera species including Aenetus ligniveren, which burrows into the trunk.
