Amphicome (amphi, both, and kome, hair; the seeds having a tuft of hair at both ends). Bignoniaceae. Greenhouse herbaceous rockery plants from the Himalayas, with large, rosy, funnel-shaped, 5-lobed fls. which are axillary or terminal : Lvs. alternate, unequally pinnate.—Species 2.
