Describe the plant here... Helenium bigelovii, Gray. St. 2-3 ft. high, nearly smooth: upper lvs. narrow to oblong-lanceolate, lower spatulate: heads commonly l ½ -2 ½ in. broad; rays ¾ in. long; fl.-stalk slender. Aug. Wet ground, Calif. S.H. 1:373.
