Hydrophyllum virginianum, Linn. Glabrous or nearly so, 1- 2 ½ ft.: lvs. pinnately divided, the 5^7 divisions ovate-lanceolate or oblong: fls. white or violet-purple, the peduncles longer than the petioles. Quebec, west and south.
