Describe the plant here...

Read about Jovellana in the Standard Cyclopedia of Horticulture

Jovellana (Jovellanos, Spanish personal name). Scrophulariaceae. A half-dozen South American and New Zealand plants that sometimes are included with Calceolaria, are referred to this genus. None of them is apparently in cultivation in this country, but J. violacea, Don (see Calceolaria violacea, supplementary list) is sometimes cultivated as a greenhouse plant in the Old World. They differ from Calceolaria in having a ringent corolla without a saccate lip.
