Heuchera bracteata, Ser. Acaulescent and densely cespitose: flowering branches usually about 4-6 inches tall, usually with a few minute leaves: basal leaves round-kidney-shaped, more or less round- lobed and with cuspidate teeth: sepals oblong, obtuse, the petals oblanceolate or spatulate, slightly exceeding the sepals. Alpine regions of Colorado and S. Wyoming — Useful only in alpine collections.
