Adenocarpus decorticans, Boiss. (A. Boissieri, Webb). Shrub or small tree, 15-25 ft.: branches tomentose: lfts. linear, pubescent: racemes short, compact; calyx villous, segms. nearly equal. Spain.—Resembles English gorse, but is thornless. Bark peels naturally. Thrives in poor, sandy soil. CH
