Yushania is a genus with 6 species of spreading thornless bamboos. They are found in the Himalaya at moderate to high altitudes, up to 3000 m but usually lower, and in Taiwan and Africa. They are evergreen and reach 2 to 10 m tall.

Some species, especially Yushania anceps, is popular as an ornamental plant. This species has one cultivar, 'Pitt White', known for its rapid growth (up to 15 cm per day).
