A hearty evergreen perennial, native to Columbia, Peru and Equador. Grows to 4' x 4' and spreads by root stock. likes regular water and good drainage and grows in full sun or part shade. Hardy to 25 degrees.

Has lovely deep blue flowers and blooms fall and winter. Cut back in spring. Blooms on second year growth?? (they are uncertain)
