Bushy annual that blooms in the summer. Flowers have orange disc surrounded by 8-9 golden to red-brown ray florets. Fully double-flowered forms are commonly grown.
Narrow, sparsely hairy to downy, lance-shaped leaves, to over 1 <X>1/4</X> in (30 mm) long.
