Perennial herb. Grows from spherical bulbs. 1-1¼ in (2.5-3cm) wide bulb. leaves are thin and curved. rough texture. leaves to 24 in (60 cm) long. leaves grow from central base on bulb. off-white flowers. flowers on open panicles. flowers on 16-36 in (40-90 cm) smooth stems.
