Passiflora mollissima, Bailey (Tacsonia mollissima, HBK.). Pubescent: lvs. cordate-ovate in outline, very pubescent beneath, the lobes extending nearly to the base of the blade and ovate-lanceolate in shape and serrate, the stipules laciniate: fl. about 3 in. across, rose-color, the green tube exceeding the sepals and swollen at the base; corona a short rim. Andes. B.M. 4187. B.R. 32:11. F.S. 2:78. G. 28:17.—P. tubiflora, offered about 20 years ago in Calif, (and now apparently lost) is said not to differ much from P. mollissima.
