Phalaenopsis Lueddemanniana, Reichb. f. A small plant, with thick, oblong fleshy lvs. 6-8 in. long: infl. about as long as the lvs., with few handsome fls. near the top; fls. 2-3 in. across; sepals and petals oblong-acute, white, marked with transverse bars, those at the base being amethyst, while the upper ones are brown; labellum deep violet, with yellow blotches on the side lobes; middle lobe oblong; side lobes erect, ligulate, deeply 2-toothed.
