Galium boreale, Linn. Northern Bedstraw. Perennial, stoloniferous, forming patches: sts. smooth, 1-3 ft. high, erect, strict: lvs. ¾ -l ½ in. long; apex not bristle- tipped: panicle ample: fr. usually minutely bristly. Rocky soil, Quo. to Alaska and south to Pa. and Colo.— Useful in rockeries and flower-beds.
