Senecio jacobaea, Linn. Tansy Ragwort. Stinking Willie. An erect biennial or perennial herb: st. 1-3 ft. high, leafy: basal lvs. petiolate, sublyrate; st.-lvs. sessile, 1 1/2 - 6 in. long, 3/4 – 2 3/4 in. broad, 2-3-pinnatisect: heads numerous, radiate with yellow rays. Eu. Naturalized in N. E. Amer. along the coast.—Occasionally cult. in gardens. CH
