Trillium petiolatum, Pursh. St. scarcely arising above the ground: lvs. ovate-elliptic to reniform, with stalks as long as the blade or even longer (blade 3-5 in. long): fls. purple, the petals 1-2 in. long and narrow-oblanceolate, the sepals erect. Idaho, Ore. and Wash.—Little known in cult. CH
