Ranunculus pyrenaeus, Linn., also incorrectly offered in the trade as pyrenaicus, Hort. Perennial, about 1 ft. high: lvs. linear or lanceolate, entire, all basal, bluish green: scape tomentose at the top, l-4-fld.; fls. white, rather large ; sepals glabrous ; petals obovate : achenes obliquely obovate-globose, sides glossy, beak short, hooked; receptacle pubescent. June-Aug. S. Eu.
