Rhododendron keiskei, Miq. Low, sometimes procumbent shrub: lvs. elliptic to lanceolate, acute, dull green above, lepidote beneath, 1 1/2-3 in. long: clusters 2-5-fld.; calyx minute; corolla broadly funnelform, divided to the middle into rounded lobes, pale yellow, 1 1/2in. across; stamens much exserted. May. Japan. B.M. 8300.
