Read about Lychnis miqueliana in the Standard Cyclopedia of Horticulture

Lychnis miqueliana, Rohrb. Much like L. coronata but well distinguished by petals not eroded, bracts and bractlets short and strict, the inn. spreading, peduncles often about as long as calyx: described as a pretty species forming a spreading bush of olive-green foliage and freely producing salmon-red large fls. in Aug. and Sept. Japan.
