Michauxia tchihatcheffii, Fisch. & Heldr. A stately plant. 6-7 ft., stout and erect, simple below: lvs. 6-8 in. long, spreading and deflexed. narrow-oblong, toothed or serrate and sometimes lyrate: fls. white, in an erect cylindric very densely fld. terminal spike; corolla-lobes 8, ovate-lanceolate, the margins fimbriate.
