Moraea polyanthos, Thunb. Lvs. about 3, one from near the base of the st., the others from the lower forks, ½-l ft. long: clusters of fls. 5-20; fls. lilac: caps, clavate or oblong, 1/3­½ in. long. Cape Colony, northward to Transvaal.
