Molinia caerulea, Moench (Aira caerulea, Linn.). Culms tufted, 1-3 ft. high: lvs. rather rigid, slender pointed. The usual form in cult.is var. variegata, with striped lvs., used for bedding. Dept. Agric., Div. Agrost. 20:133.
