Miconia denticulata, Naudin (Melastoma denticulatum, Bonpl., not Hort.?). Branches obtusely 4-angled; the young branches, lvs. and calyx furfuraceous: lvs. narrow- ovate, somewhat obtuse, 3-nerved, base rounded, minutely serrulate: fls. pedicillate, aggregated in panicles; petals subrotund, small; calyx somewhat hemispherical. Ecuador.
