Anthericum liliago, Linn. St. Bernard's Lily. Figs. 220, 221. St. simple, 2-3 ft. high, bearing an open raceme of open- spreading fls. 1 in. or less across, the segms. linear- oblong: Lvs. long and narrow. S. Eu. and N. Afr. B.M. 914. Var. major, Sims, is larger in all its parts. B.M. 1635.
