Barbarea (from the old name, Herb of Saint Barbara). Cruciferae. Hardy biennials, with yellow flowers, sometimes cultivated; allied to water-cress and horseradish. Branching leafy herbs: fls. small, yellow, clustered: fr. a linear cylindrical and 4-angled pod, the valves keeled.
