Begonia knowsleyana, Hort. Much like B. incarnata, but lf. smaller, entire or nearly so: fls. nearly white. Named for Knowsley, seat of the Earl of Derby. Origin not known; probably a seedling of B. acuminata. A good winter bloomer, particularly in 6-in. pots. J.H. III. 49, p. 177.
