Brahea calcarea is a species of palm. It is found in Guatemala and Mexico and is threatened by habitat loss.

Brahea calcarea, Liebm. (B. nitida, Andre). Trunk 8-15 ft. high, covered with the woody persistent lf .-bases: Lvs. usually 20-30 in a dense bushy crown, unarmed, membranaceous, covered below with a brownish powder: spadix long, more or less erect and considerably longer than the Lvs., after flowering more or less pendulous; fls. solitary, with a single bract : fr. ovoid. Mex.
