Glabrous perennial, 4-5 ft.: lvs. glandular-dentate, lower petiolate, ovate-oblong, subcordate; st.- lvs. sessile, ovate-lanceolate: calyx-lobes acuminate, spreading, half as long as the broadly bell-shaped corolla: fls. numerous, in pyramidal racemes, pale blue varying to white and darker at the base.
